Marissa’s goals as a project architect/project manager are to understand the clients’ desires and connections to the projects, user groups, and communities. She assists the client’s vision and facilitates the design process. She is driven by her passion to collaborate with healthcare professionals to reimagine and revitalize the communities they serve. Marissa values the ability to bounce ideas off team members and work to resolve problems together to produce a cohesive and meaningful project. For Marissa, regenerative design means solving problems creatively to have a lasting impact on communities.
Outside of the office Marissa likes to spend her time getting her hands dirty in the garden or auto shop. She has two adorable dogs that she pampers and spoils.
In the winter she likes to sew, crochet, and knit. Her and her husband are working towards creating a self-sustainable urban homestead on their property.
